If you’re curious about foraging, but you’re not sure where to start, this is the walk for you! At this time of the year we will discover the abundance of Spring greens. Spring is the perfect time to start to deepen your foraging knowledge. As you start to recognise what’s around you, you can observe how they change and grow through the seasons.

This 2.5 hour walk will guide you through all the basic principles of foraging. You will learn how to safely identify edible and medicinal plants and fungi, as well as which ones to avoid!

You'll be given hints and tips on how to use the ingredients we find, as well as learning some fascinating folklore about them. This walk will help you to connect to the environment around you and empower you to go on and learn more. It will be an exploration of the senses as we discover what seasonal bounty is growing around us.

This event is in Llangollen, North Wales. It will be a gentle walk on even ground and suitable for most abilities. Please let me know if you have mobility issues. Exact location and meeting point given prior to event.

The walk will start at 10am, please arrive ten minutes before so we can start on time.

Please be prepared for what ever the British weather may bring!
