Frequently Asked Questions

Can I reschedule my booking?

Yes! We understand things change so we are happy to change your booking to another date with availability. For individual bookings we require a minimum of 14 days notice before the original booking date to reschedule. If there are no suitable alternative dates you can either have a voucher to redeem anytime within 1 year, or we can issue a refund minus the booking fee of £5. For private or group bookings we require the slightly longer notice of one month (30 days).

Will the walk go ahead whatever the weather?

Generally, yes! We ask all participants to dress appropriately for what ever the great British weather may bring! Come rain or shine we immerse ourselves in the great outdoors. In exceptional cases, if the weather is deemed to be a threat to the safety of participants, E.g. winds above 45 MPH or thunderstorms, the walk will be rescheduled. If you are unable to make the suggested alternative date you will be issued a refund minus £5 booking fee.

Are children welcome?

Absolutely! Children under 10 go free with an adult, under 16’s £20. We ask that there is no more than 2 kids per adult, to make sure everyone is supervised at all times. Email hello@livingwild.uk for a child’s ticket.

Can I bring my dog?

Well behaved dogs are welcome to join us on the walk. It is requested by the landowners that dogs are kept on leads for the full duration of the walk.

Can I make a private booking for my group?

Yes! Private bookings are most welcome, just email hello@livingwild.uk to discuss your options!

What should I bring on a walk?

Please come prepared for what ever the British weather may bring! Waterproofs if its going to rain, hats and sunscreen if its set to be hot. Sensible footwear like trainers or walking boots for walking through the countryside. You might like to bring water to keep you hydrated. You may wish to bring a note book and pen to take notes.

Will we eat wild food?

You will be given the opportunity to try the things we find during the walk. There is no obligation for you to try anything at all! During the walk you will get the chance to smell, touch and taste the plants and fungi we find - this is all part of the learning experience!
