Schools

Living Wild offers a range of workshops for schools and educational groups in Llangollen, Ruthin, Denbigh and the wider North Wales area.

Living Wild has a long background in working with youth groups and schools, from primary age to secondary, and in alternative educational settings. Outdoor learning offers the opportunity for independent, experiential learning, encouraging effective open communication, practical learning and fresh air! The benefits of outdoor learning are numerous and well researched, boosting confidence, social skills, physical skills and ability to work cooperatively as well as improving concentration and learning when returning to the classroom. Working in an outdoor setting can liberate those who struggle to thrive in a mainstream or conventional environment.

Living Wild offers a range of sessions to suit all, whether its a one off session or series of outdoor classes offered sequentially through-out term. Children will learn about the natural world, learn to identify trees, plants and fungi, practice practical skills and explore environmental art. For more information or to book a session at your school or group, please contact us.
